Lautaro Martinez will not be banned for his words after loss 1-0 against Juventus

Inter Milan’s defeat against Juventus at the Allianz Stadium has left a significant impact on the Nerazzurri. Losing to a historic rival is always difficult to accept, especially at such a crucial stage of the season when there was an opportunity to overtake Napoli and claim the top spot in the standings. Lautaro Martinez’s reaction after the match has gone viral, sparking mixed reactions across the internet.

After the final whistle of Juve-Inter, the Argentine striker was caught on camera visibly frustrated by the loss. In addition to the team’s defeat, he was likely disappointed with his own performance, having missed key chances in the first half that could have changed the course of the game.

In his emotional outburst, Lautaro appeared to utter blasphemous words, which could have led to a suspension based on league regulations, where such infractions typically result in at least a one-match ban. However, he will not face any disciplinary action.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Ilbianconero), Lautaro will not receive a suspension because there is no audio evidence to confirm the alleged blasphemy only a lip reading interpretation.

In cases like this, the absence of audio makes it impossible to establish definitive proof. As a result, the Inter captain is expected to avoid punishment, meaning he will be available for the upcoming match against Genoa and will not risk missing the crucial title clash against Napoli in early March.
