Fenerbahce head coach Jose Mourinho is making a bold move in the transfer market by offering Sofyan Amrabat to Juventus in exchange for unsettled midfielder Douglas Luiz.

Mourinho, determined to bring Douglas Luiz to Istanbul, is reportedly willing to trade Amrabat—one of Fenerbahce’s key midfielders to convince Juventus.

The Brazilian is no longer in Igor Tudor’s plans and has caused tension by refusing to join the squad’s pre-season camp.

While Premier League clubs like West Ham, Everton, and Nottingham Forest remain interested in Luiz, Fenerbahce has now officially entered the race with a concrete offer.

Although Amrabat isn’t Juventus’ top priority, he is among the names being considered as midfield reinforcement.

The 28-year-old Moroccan international has deep experience in Italy, having played for Hellas Verona and Fiorentina before a loan stint at Manchester United in 2023/24.

After completing a permanent move to Fenerbahce last summer, Amrabat remains on Juventus’ radar as a more affordable alternative to other midfield targets.

Juventus are currently focused on signing Morten Hjulmand, who remains their primary target. However, financial constraints have led them to consider more flexible options—Amrabat included.

Reports indicate Fenerbahce would be willing to let the Moroccan go for the right price, and Mourinho’s willingness to include him in a swap deal could sweeten the negotiation.

With Douglas Luiz pushing for a fresh start and Mourinho eager to land the Brazilian, the coming days could be crucial in determining whether a swap deal is viable.

Juventus must now decide if Amrabat fits into Tudor’s system or if they hold out for other midfield targets on their list.

As negotiations develop, the football world watches closely to see if Mourinho’s gamble pays off.
