Juventus planning seven more signings after Jonathan David arrival

Juventus are set for another eventful summer in the transfer market as they prepare to bring in seven more new players after securing their first major signing, Jonathan David.

Following a big squad overhaul last summer, which saw nine new players arrive and four more join in January, the club is once again reshaping its team under new leadership.

With former director Cristiano Giuntoli and coach Thiago Motta gone, the Bianconeri are pressing ahead with a new direction.

One of the club’s primary targets is Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, who is expected to leave the Premier League this summer. While interest is confirmed, Italian sources offer mixed reports about how advanced the negotiations are.

Meanwhile, Juventus are working to retain Randal Kolo Muani and Francisco Conceição, who both impressed during their loan spells. Talks are ongoing with Paris Saint-Germain and FC Porto, respectively.

Reports indicate Juventus plan to fill seven specific positions in the squad:

Midfield: With Douglas Luiz likely to depart and Weston McKennie also expected to leave, a central midfielder is a top priority. Granit Xhaka of Bayer Leverkusen is among the favorites to join.

Wing-back: Timothy Weah is nearing a move to Olympique Marseille, and Fiorentina’s Dodo is reportedly Juventus’ preferred replacement.

Goalkeeper: With Mattia Perin likely to exit, the club wants a new backup goalkeeper.

Centre-back: Juventus are also seeking a central defender to strengthen the back line.
