Sky Sport Italia broke that Nico Savona had received interest from Premier League side Nottingham Forest (read more here). Juventus were open to selling Savona, but at the time the bid Forrest had offered was too low at €11M. Comolli saw Savona as another way to earn revenue as the club has already seen €100M come in from sales this summer.

Juventus then told Forrest that to sell Savona, they would need a bid of around €18-20M euros to sell Savona. Forrest then agreed to match this valuation of Savona, with little negotiation. Now the deal is very close to being complete reports Fabrizio Romano via X.

Damien Comolli has also supported this claim in an interview with Tutto mercato web. Comolli said “That said, I can say that we have just reached an agreement with Nottingham Forest for the sale of Savona. The deal was closed this afternoon.” This is as close as you can get to an official announcement from the club.

Savona will fly to Milan to complete his medicals, and sign all the relevant documents before making this move. Should this all go well he will officially join Nottingham Forest as Juventus will then look to bring new players. This money will be especially now that two key names will be made to stay.

Dusan Vlahovic will likely stay at Juventus, with this statement supported by Comolli words to Tuttomercato. He said “There’s no friction between us and Dusan. He’s part of the team, he’ll stay 99% of the time and be with us for the entire season. There have been many discussions with some clubs, but nothing concrete. His permanence is good news because he’s an excellent player, and he wants to stay too.”

This means that Juventus will have to reconsider if they will purchase french striker Randal Kolo Muani. PSG have accepted the €60M bid for Kolo Muani, and he is waiting to fly to Turin for his medical. But if Juventus lose €20-30M by not selling Vlahovic before his €12M a season wage. The deal could cost Juventus up to €90M to sign Kolo Muani.
