Juventus sign Francisco Conceição permanently from Porto
Juventus have officially confirmed the permanent signing of Francisco Conceição from FC Porto after his impressive loan spell during the 2024-25 season.
The 22-year-old Portuguese winger, who joined the Bianconeri on loan last season, has now signed a five-year contract with Juventus that will run until June 2030.
The Italian giants will pay €30.4 million for Conceição, spread across four instalments, as part of the agreement with Porto.
Though the initial loan deal didn’t include a purchase option, Juventus were impressed by his performances and chose to make the move permanent.
Conceição completed his medical earlier on Tuesday upon returning to Turin and becomes Juventus’ second permanent signing of the summer, following Jonathan David, who joined earlier this month as a free agent.
During his loan spell, Conceição made 40 appearances, scoring six goals and providing seven assists across all competitions.
He became one of the most exciting young players in the squad, with only Kenan Yildiz completing more dribbles for Juventus last season. In addition, only Dusan Vlahovic had more touches inside the opponent’s penalty area.
His contribution was key during Juventus’ run in both Serie A and the FIFA Club World Cup, which marked the end of his loan.
Juventus released an official statement welcoming the winger:
“Francisco Conceição is officially a Juventus player on a permanent basis. After spending the 2024/25 season on loan from FC Porto, the Portuguese winger has now signed a contract that ties him to the Bianconeri until 2030. Congratulations, Chico we can’t wait to see you back out on the pitch!”
With this move, Juventus continue to strengthen their squad for the 2025/26 season, and Conceição is expected to play a major role under coach Igor Tudor.
