Will Nicolo Fagioli leave Juventus?

Juventus midfield has changed heavy overturn since Thiago Motta came to the club. Juventus signed Teun Koopmeiners, Douglas Luiz and Khepren Thuram all being signed last window. Paul Pogba and Adrien Rabiot where both released, and Fabio Miretti was sent out on loan.

The only three midfielders left since he joined are Nicolo Fagioli, Manuel Locatelli and Weston Mckennie. Out of these three players Nicolo Fagioli has played the least with Locatelli being started and Mckennie starting or coming off the bench first.

Juventus have also seen two defensive ACL injuries which have left both Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal which leaves Juventus the need for a defensive signing. As well Vlahovic has lacked a backup since Arek Milik’s injury.

This has left Motta and Giuntoli at the drawing board as there looking to bolster these positions. They need to make crucial signings if we plan to make a title charge and go deep into the champions league.

Juventus have already spent a lot of money this season to make the key signings. So, there isn’t enough left to make all the signings the club would like to make. This has meant that a few players could have to be sold and Fagioli could be one of those.

According to Gazzetta, PSG are interested in signing Fagioli to bolster their already their young midfield. PSG have put a focus on youth which has led to the signing of Joao Neves and promoting Warren Zaire-Emery.

Giuntoli and Motta are seriously considering a sale because of the funds needed to improve the rest of the squad. They won’t accept anything under 25 million euros to sell Fagioli and let him leave the club.

In all honestly Juventus shouldn’t sell Nicolo Fagioli because he has shown serious potential and should be kept. If someone has to be sold maybe Weston Mckennie is the one because he is in near his prime and has been in good form. Because of this form Juventus could get a lot more for him but I would love to stay as well.
