Juventus’ search for a new head coach continues as the club undergoes significant changes in its leadership and technical staff.

Following the departure of sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, Juventus is reportedly considering Fulham manager Marco Silva as a potential candidate to lead the team into a new era.

Silva’s Profile and Coaching Philosophy

Marco Silva, a 47-year-old Portuguese coach, has garnered attention for his managerial stints across Europe, notably in the Premier League with Hull City, Watford, Everton, and currently Fulham.

At Fulham, he achieved promotion to the Premier League in his first season and secured a respectable 10th-place finish in the 2022–23 season.

Silva is known for his tactical flexibility, often employing a 4-2-3-1 formation that balances attacking play with defensive solidity.

Contractual Considerations

Silva’s current contract with Fulham extends until 2026. While Fulham’s management, including owner Tony Khan, has expressed a strong desire to retain him long-term, reports indicate that Silva has been approached by other clubs, including Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal.

Although he previously declined offers from Saudi clubs, he is reportedly open to new opportunities, suggesting a potential openness to discussions with Juventus.

Juventus’ Managerial Landscape

Despite Igor Tudor’s automatic contract renewal until June 2026 following Juventus’ qualification for the Champions League, there is speculation that he may depart after the Club World Cup.

Juventus’ leadership, under John Elkann, is reportedly seeking a comprehensive overhaul, which includes the appointment of a new head coach.
