Analysing the Pogba-Milinkovic Savic situation

Juventus want to make a big shot in midfield this summer and the two profiles that seem to be on top of the Bianconeri list of those of Paul Pogba and Sergej Milinkovic Savic.

Juventus have reportedly called Pogba’s agents to Turin on Monday to discuss a possible move this summer. Pogba, however is not the fans choice, the majority of Juventini lean towards Milinkovic Savic.

Attainable: Paul Pogba is defenitely more attainable than Milinkovic Savic for Juventus. For the Serbian, a hefty fee will be required, a offer that convinces Lazio President Lotito. It is no doubt, the president of the Eagles would like to sell the Serbian this summer but to a foreign club. Meanwhile for Pogba, there will be no need for a negotiation between clubs as he’s a free agent this summer. For Pogba, a agreement on contract is all that’s required.

Both players can fit well at Juve, 4-3-3 is the best formation to accommodate any of the two. Pogba in past, has struggled in a double pivot and playing in a 2 man midfield is not the most sensible idea. For me, any of the two would play on the left side of a three man midfield alongside Manuel Locatelli and Denis Zakaria.

Bigger Impact: Both players are capable of making a big impact on this Juventus midfield. The day they come, they will be the most creative player in the side straight off. Paul Pogba would have a bigger impact on global side than Milinkovic Savic but I do feel Savic would be a better choice on the pitch.
