Edon Zhegrova showed why Juventus can count on him in the future after making a big impact in the 1-1 draw against Atalanta at the Allianz Stadium.

Signed on the last day of the summer transfer window, Zhegrova only played the final 30 minutes but immediately changed the game. Juventus were chasing an equaliser, and every important move went through him.

The 25-year-old touched the ball 39 times, showing confidence and personality. He created danger, asked for the ball, and helped Juventus push forward.

Zhegrova’s biggest strength is his dribbling. In just half an hour, he won 7 out of 10 duels and completed 6 dribbles out of 8 attempts. His ability to beat defenders gave Juventus new attacking options and unsettled Atalanta’s defence.

One challenge is that Zhegrova prefers to play with the ball at his feet, often dropping deep to receive it. Coach Igor Tudor usually asks his attackers to run in behind and attack space, which is not Zhegrova’s main style.

Still, his quality in the final third could make him a key weapon for Juventus this season. If Tudor adapts his tactics, Zhegrova might become the difference-maker the team has been missing.
