Arsenal are preparing an official offer to beat Chelsea in the race to sign Kenan Yildiz, the talented young forward from Juventus.

The 20-year-old Turkish international joined Juventus from Bayern Munich’s youth academy in 2022 and has quickly become one of the key players for the Italian giants. Last season, he made 15 goal contributions, showing great progress and consistency.

This season, Yildiz has continued his impressive form, scoring against Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund, and providing four assists in just eight games across all competitions.

He also made a strong impact in the Club World Cup, where he helped Juventus reach the round of 16.

Reports suggest that Arsenal are planning a £43 million offer plus Gabriel Jesus in a potential swap deal. Juventus have shown interest in Jesus, which could make the move easier to negotiate.

Juventus, however, are also trying to offer Yildiz a new long-term contract to keep him in Turin, as his value and importance to the team continue to rise.

Yildiz wears the Number 10 shirt for Juventus and plays mainly on the left wing but can also operate as a creative attacking midfielder. Known for his dribbling, vision, and powerful shots, he’s seen as one of the most exciting young players in Europe.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta appreciates players who work hard both on and off the ball, and Yildiz fits that profile perfectly.

Still, Arsenal already have several strong attacking players  including Martin Ødegaard, Eberechi Eze, Ethan Nwaneri, Gabriel Martinelli, and Leandro Trossard so they might need to sell or loan someone before bringing Yildiz in.

If the deal goes through, it would be one of the most exciting transfers of the 2025 season, showing Arsenal’s determination to strengthen their attack for future success.
