Arsenal are reportedly hopeful of signing Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz, according to a recent report from Italy.

The 20-year-old Turkish talent joined Juventus in 2022 as a free agent after leaving Bayern Munich’s academy. He made his senior debut the following year and quickly became one of the Bianconeri’s most promising young players.

Last season, Yildiz made 15 goal contributions, proving his attacking quality and consistency. He continued his fine form in the Club World Cup, recording four goal involvements in four games to help Juventus reach the round of 16.

This season, the forward has stepped up even more  scoring impressive goals against Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund, along with four assists in eight matches across all competitions. His performances have also earned him a regular place in Turkey’s national team.

According to ESPN, Arsenal have been closely following Yildiz and are now preparing to make a move for him next year.

Manager Igor Tudor and Juventus, however, are determined to keep their young star and plan to extend his current deal until 2030.

Yildiz is already under contract until 2029 and valued at around £65 million, so Juventus are in no rush to sell. Despite that, Arsenal remain optimistic about their chances of convincing both the player and the club.

Yildiz is a versatile attacker who mainly plays on the left wing but can also operate as an attacking midfielder.

Known for his technical skill, creativity, and ability to score from distance, he fits Arsenal’s attacking style under Mikel Arteta.

However, with players like Martin Ødegaard, Eberechi Eze, Ethan Nwaneri, Gabriel Martinelli, and Leandro Trossard already competing for similar positions, Arsenal may only move for Yildiz if one of their key attackers leaves.

Even so, his potential makes him one of the most exciting young players in Europe — and signing him would be a major statement from the Gunners.
