Juventus star open to joining Inter Milan or Atalanta this summer
Juventus winger Nico Gonzalez is reportedly open to a move away from Turin, with Inter Milan and Atalanta emerging as potential destinations during the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old Argentine is not a guaranteed starter under current Juventus management and could be set for an early exit after just one season with the Bianconeri.
Gonzalez joined Juventus from Fiorentina in the summer of 2024 amid high expectations and a significant transfer fee. However, the winger has struggled to replicate the form that made him a standout in Florence.
Despite a few flashes of brilliance, his performances have fallen short, and he now finds himself behind younger players like Kenan Yildiz and Francisco Conceição in the squad hierarchy.
While Gonzalez reportedly prefers to stay and fight for his place in Massimiliano Allegri’s team, he understands the importance of consistent playing time especially with the 2026 World Cup on the horizon. As such, he is not ruling out a transfer.
Inter Milan, currently focused on signing Atalanta star Ademola Lookman, see Gonzalez as a backup option should their primary pursuit fall through.
Atalanta, on the other hand, are believed to be monitoring the situation closely and could pounce if the terms are right.
As of now, there have been no official bids, but Gonzalez’s openness to a move could spark serious negotiations in the coming weeks.
