Bayern Munich ask about Juventus star

Bayern Munich are showing interest in Dusan Vlahovic, the Juventus striker who is in the final year of his contract.

Juventus paid around €80 million to sign him from Fiorentina in January 2022. His contract made him the highest-paid player in Serie A thanks to a big loyalty bonus.

Although he has been Juve’s top scorer for three seasons, many fans believe the 25-year-old hasn’t fully lived up to the big expectations from his Fiorentina days.

Juventus tried to sell Vlahovic this summer, but no club was ready to match his high salary demands. Because of that, he stayed in Turin even after the club signed Jonathan David and Loic Openda.

Now, with no sign of a contract renewal, Vlahovic is expected to leave as a free agent at the end of the season.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed on his YouTube channel that Bayern have made contact to learn about Vlahovic’s situation.

The German giants have not made a formal offer yet. Instead, they are collecting information about his salary requests, signing bonus, and agent fees before deciding their next move.

Romano also added that Bayern are not alone. Other European clubs and teams from Saudi Arabia are closely following the striker’s case.

For now, Vlahovic is keeping his focus on Juventus. Despite starting most games on the bench this season, he has already scored four goals.
