Juventus are reportedly readying a bid of up to €50 million to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi.

However, the Bundesliga club has firmly set their asking price above €60 million, warning Juventus to either meet their valuation or step back from negotiations.

According to German outlet Sport Bild, Juventus have expressed strong interest in acquiring the 23-year-old winger, with an initial offer expected to be between €45 million and €50 million.

Despite this, Dortmund’s management, including managing director Lars Ricken and sporting director Sebastian Kehl, consider Adeyemi a key part of their future and have made it clear that such an offer will not be sufficient.

Borussia Dortmund recently sold young attacker Jamie Bynoe-Gittens to Chelsea for €60 million but are reluctant to lose another promising offensive talent this summer.

During the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, Dortmund heavily featured Adeyemi in their media campaigns, underscoring their desire to keep him as the face of the club.

Adeyemi’s current contract runs until 2027, but Dortmund plan to enter talks this winter to extend his deal further, aiming to avoid entering the final contract year under pressure.

If a sale becomes inevitable, Dortmund insist on a transfer fee exceeding €60 million.

Last season, Adeyemi impressed with seven goals and six assists, ranking among the Bundesliga’s top 10 players for successful dribbles per 90 minutes.

With Jamie Bynoe-Gittens now at Chelsea and fellow young forward Julien Duranville sidelined by injury, Adeyemi is expected to take center stage in Dortmund’s attack this season.

However, if contract talks stall by winter, the club may consider placing him on the transfer list next summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer in 2027.
