Cristiano Giuntoli and Fali Ramadani, Federico Chiesa’s agent had a meeting today to discuss Chiesa’s future. And nothing changed Chiesa is still after five million euros per year and still Giuntoli and Juventus won’t pay it. Now both parties need to look for a suitor for Federico Chiesa which benefits both parties.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Chiesa’s preferred option is FC Barcelona in Spain. This has been linked for a while with communication between Barca and Juve have begun but nothing is set in stone yet with no figures agreed.

A fee of around 15 million euros has been proposed between the clubs and still nothing confirmed. But a move to Barca may not be possible for Chiesa due to their finical situation. They have recently struggled since COVID and mainly this window. They couldn’t register Dani Olmo until an injury to defender Andreas Christensen.

If finances stop a move to Barca for Chiesa, then another option will need to be sorted. Thankfully a new club has become interested in the last 48 hours. This being Premier League club, Liverpool as they lack for wing depth.

Liverpool wings depth has been shaky at times with having a higher list on the left-hand side with Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota being their option on that side with less on the left. But on the right, they have less with mainly Mo Salah and occasionally Diogo Jota.

This could push Chiesa away as he likes to play on the left, but he can play on the right when asked. This is the issue because there are only a few days left in the window so he may be forced to stay until at least January.
