Juventus general manager Damien Comolli has broken his silence on several key issues regarding the club’s summer transfer window. In an exclusive interview , Comolli spoke candidly about potential exits, internal matters, and ongoing negotiations.

A Confident Vision for Juventus

Comolli began by expressing optimism about the club’s current trajectory:

“We’re a team that can win again. We have great potential and a solid foundation. We’re not setting deadlines, but we’re building for something big. If I had to compare us to another club, I’d say Liverpool   attractive and ambitious,” he said.

Vlahovic’s Future Depends on the Right Offer

On striker Dušan Vlahovic, Comolli revealed that the club is open to a sale — but only under the right circumstances.

“We had very positive discussions with Vlahovic in the U.S. If a great opportunity arises for both the player and the club financially, we won’t stand in the way,” he said.

He also confirmed the club is working to bring Randal Kolo Muani back:

“Kolo Muani wants to return. We’re working on it, and we’re not worried about either him or David.”

Douglas Luiz’s Apology

Addressing internal matters, Comolli didn’t shy away from controversy involving midfielder Douglas Luiz:

“He showed disrespect toward his teammates. Every player must respect the shirt. That said, he later apologized  to his teammates, coaches, and myself.”

Weah’s Marseille Hopes Still on Hold

Regarding Timothy Weah, the Juventus GM explained:

“He wants to go to Marseille, but in football, it’s not just about what a player wants. The right offer must come. So far, it hasn’t.”

Sancho, Yildiz, and Transfer Plans

With Jadon Sancho linked to a move to Juventus, Comolli acknowledged the situation but noted the club is already well-equipped on the wings:

“We have two of the best wingers in the world   Yildiz and Conceicao  plus Nico, who’s a fantastic talent. If someone leaves, we’re ready to act in the market.”

With speculation swirling around other targets like Sander Berge, Comolli’s comments suggest Juventus are actively evaluating all options to strengthen the squad while staying true to their vision.
