Conceição speaks on his future at Juventus

After scoring a stunning goal in Portugal’s victory over Germany, Francisco Conceição spoke about his future including the possibility of staying at Juventus.
The young winger joined the Bianconeri last summer on a paid loan from Porto, worth €9 million including bonuses, and his future remains uncertain.
Speaking after the match, Conceição said: “I know my dad once scored a hat-trick. I only scored one today, but I helped the team win, which was the most important thing.
We played a great match and we’re preparing to win the next one. I haven’t spoken to my dad yet, but I know he’ll be happy for me. Future at Juve? I don’t know yet, we’ll see what happens, we’ll see.”
His words leave the door open to multiple possibilities, including a return to Porto or a permanent move to Turin.
Conceição is currently on loan at Juventus until June 30, 2025. The deal does not include a buy option, meaning that if Juventus want to sign him permanently, they would need to pay the full €30 million release clause set by Porto.
Meanwhile, Juventus executives are working behind the scenes at Continassa to try and keep the player at least for the Club World Cup.
That was an objective strongly pursued by Cristiano Giuntoli before his departure, who had hinted that a deal was close.
Now it’s up to the club’s new leadership to decide Chico’s fate and a decision will need to be made soon.
