Juventus are in need of an attacker in the January transfer window as Arek Milik has been constantly injured. This has left Juventus with no back up striker for Dusan Vlahovic. This has forced Samuel Mbangula and Nico Gonzalez, having to take the role.
Juventus have had a few linked names for strikers to join the club like Kolo Muani and Joshua Zirkzee, but now a new name has come out of the blue. Niclas Füllkrug has been linked to Juventus on a six-month loan to Juventus.
If Füllkrug would come to Juventus he would likely a part time fix to take the club to the end of the season. This would be so that Giuntoli and Motta can assess the future of both Vlahovic, and who would be a good tactical fit as back-up.
The back-up that would be bought in next season if Füllkrug comes in on a six-month loan would likely be a younger player. As well Juventus may decide to sell Dusan Vlahovic with his contract expiring at the end of 2026 and look for a long-term replacement.
Füllkrug joined West Ham at the start of this season after an impressive Euro 24 campaign where he scored two goals after coming off the bench five times. But ever since joining West Ham he has been at this best.
Füllkrug has only featured in nine of West Hams games, while only starting three. This has led to him scoring only three goals with no assists this season. He has started playing more recently due to an injury from Michail Antonio who broke his leg in a car crash. This could mean that West Ham want to keep him until the back end of the season when Antonio will be available.
