Could Juventus sign Sandro Tonali from Newcastle

Sandro Tonali signed for Newcastle in the summer transfer window of 2022 from AC Milan. Milan sold him to raise funds even though he didn’t want to leave. This is because he was born a Milan fan and came through their academy to the starting side.

When Tonali got to England he was given a one-year suspension for betting on games he was involved in. He has come back since, but he is struggling adapting to life and isn’t enjoying his time. Now he is looking for a way out of the club.

Now he wants a move back to Italy and all three big clubs in AC Milan, Inter and Juventus have been linked. He’s a very good player and any team would like to have him in their side. On the other hand, however this summer Juventus already signed three midfielders.

This is because of Thiago Motta joining the club this summer the club made massive reinvestments. Seven players were bought in, and now other new players have to come in. The side needs a new centre back and striker to bring him.

It’s unlikely that the John Elkann would fork over another 50 million euros when the clubs already made sevens signings, with two more likely to go. Especially since Juventus title challenge isn’t looking a positive, with Juventus being nine points off first place Atalanta.

Sandro Tonali might not be interested in joining Juventus because of his ties to Milan. He may not want to play for a rival club and wait for an offer from Milan. But they might not be interested because they signed Youssouf Fofana who plays the same role.
