Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has quashed speculation linking the club with a January move for Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee.
Speaking to Sky Sport via Gianluca Di Marzio, Giuntoli refuted any interest in the Dutch striker, who has found the Premier League challenging since his transfer from Bologna.
The Turin club is known to be seeking a dependable understudy for their primary striker, Dusan Vlahovic.
Juventus had been heavily associated with Lille’s Jonathan David during the summer transfer window, indicating their broad search for new attacking talent.

Zirkzee, who worked under Motta at Bologna before his big-money move to Manchester United, has reportedly caught the eye of the Bianconeri after struggling to adapt to the Premier League.
Despite Zirkzee’s struggles at Manchester United, Giuntoli was clear about Juventus’ stance, stating, “Zirkzee? He is a very good player, but he belongs to another team. We are waiting for Milik.”
He further elaborated on the situation with Arkadiusz Milik, who has been absent since last season due to a severe knee injury.
The Polish forward, who also missed the European Championships, has faced setbacks with another knee issue in September, sidelining him for the current season.
“Milik is recovering; his knee isn’t giving him problems. We hope he can make a quick return,” Giuntoli expressed optimism about Milik’s comeback, potentially by the end of December.
This would provide Juventus with another option upfront, easing the pressure on Vlahovic, who has been shouldering much of the team’s goal-scoring responsibilities this season.
