Training has resumed today at the Continassa training ground as Juventus prepares for its high-stakes match against Inter.

Following a four-day rest period granted by coach Igor Tudor, the Bianconeri are back on the pitch to get ready for Saturday night’s highly anticipated showdown with Inter.

This return is crucial as the team needs to regain energy and, more importantly, recover key players ahead of a packed schedule. While many players have been away on international duty, the squad will progressively reassemble over the next few hours.

Cabal Nearing Full Return

The most anticipated news is the potential full return of Juan Cabal. The Colombian defender, who has been sidelined for a long time due to a serious knee injury from last season, is expected to train at full capacity with the team.

While he has been mixing individual sessions with group training, his presence is now expected to be more consistent. However, his return will be gradual; if he is called up for the Inter match, it will likely be to re-acclimate to the team environment rather than for significant playing time.

Other Players Ready to Return

In addition to Cabal, Mattia Perin and Fabio Miretti are also ready to return and could be available for selection against Inter. The goalkeeper and the midfielder have overcome their physical issues and represent valuable options for Tudor, who wants to have the largest possible squad available for the Derby d’Italia.

International Players and New Arrivals

Players who were with their national teams will start returning to Turin today. Teun Koopmeiners, Loïs Openda, and Kenan Yildiz have completed their international commitments and are expected to arrive at Continassa in the coming hours.

Meanwhile, Edon Zhegrova has remained in Turin to familiarize himself with his new surroundings. The former Lille player has not played since December and is unlikely to be ready for the Inter match but is aiming to be included in future matchday squads.
