Juventus have officially signed Canadian striker Jonathan David, beating out strong competition from clubs around the world, including Saudi Arabian sides and Serie A rivals Napoli.

The 25-year-old forward joined the Bianconeri on a free transfer and has already started training with his new teammates ahead of the 2025/26 season.

David’s arrival comes at a crucial time for Juventus, with the futures of Dusan Vlahovic and Randal Kolo Muani still uncertain. The club sees David as a potential lead striker for the upcoming campaign.

After impressing in Ligue 1 with Lille, where he consistently delivered goals and showcased sharp movement and technical skill, David is expected to bring energy and finishing power to the Turin side.

His work ethic and ability to play within a team structure were reportedly key reasons behind Juventus’ pursuit.

Despite receiving several offers, David said the choice to join Juventus felt right after talking with the club’s management and players.
