Gianluca Di Marzio, a renowned football journalist, has highlighted Marco Silva as a prominent candidate for Juventus’s managerial position.

Speaking to Sky Sport, Di Marzio emphasized Silva’s stature in the football world, stating that he is considered “one of the best Portuguese coaches, perhaps the heir to Mourinho.”

Di Marzio also noted that Damien Comolli, Juventus’s new sporting director, holds Silva in high regard. Silva has previously declined offers from clubs like Al Hilal and had discussions with Tottenham Hotspur, indicating his selective approach to career moves.

Juventus’s interest in Silva comes after unsuccessful attempts to secure Antonio Conte and Gian Piero Gasperini, with the latter committing to a three-year contract with Roma.

Currently, Igor Tudor remains at the helm, having led the team to a fourth-place finish and Champions League qualification.

However, reports suggest that Juventus is evaluating options for the post-Club World Cup period, with Silva emerging as a strong contender.

Silva, who has been managing Fulham since 2021, guided the team to an 11th-place finish in the Premier League this season. His coaching résumé includes stints at Sporting CP, Olympiacos, Hull City, Watford, and Everton.

Known for his adaptable and attacking style of play, Silva has earned praise for his ability to counter various tactical setups and for bringing an exciting brand of football to his teams.

With a contract at Fulham running until June 2026, any potential move to Juventus would require negotiations.
