Douglas Luiz set to miss the match against Cagliari

Douglas Luiz, Juventus midfielder, will not play in the upcoming match against Cagliari in Coppa Italia. This news comes as a setback since Luiz had only recently recovered from an injury.

He had featured as a substitute in Juventus’ recent matches against Manchester City in the Champions League and against Venezia in Serie A.

According to Marco Baridon, Douglas Luiz has been put on a tailored program to manage his workload, training, and match participation. Meanwhile, both Cambiaso and Rouhi have undertaken personalized training sessions.

All three players will miss the upcoming match against Cagliari. Jonas Rouhi and Andrea Cambiaso missed the most recent match against Venezia, as they are still recovering from the injury.

Juventus will face Cagliari in Coppa Italia round of 16 tomorrow at the Allianz Stadium, as they will be looking to bounce back from 2-2 draw against Venezia.
