Reports circulating in both England and Italy have suggested that Juventus are on the verge of signing winger Jadon Sancho. However, renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has stated that the deal is far from complete.

Last summer, Juventus made a move for Sancho but were beaten to his signature by Chelsea, who secured him on loan from Manchester United with an obligation to buy.

However, after a disappointing second half of the season, Chelsea opted out of the permanent deal, choosing to pay a £5 million penalty instead of the full £25 million transfer fee.

Now back at Manchester United, Sancho faces an uncertain future. New manager Ruben Amorim reportedly has no plans to include him in his squad next season, forcing the 25-year-old to search for a new club once again.

Although multiple sources claim Juventus are currently the front-runners to sign Sancho, Fabrizio Romano has poured cold water on the excitement.

In his latest YouTube update, he confirmed that Juventus have expressed interest in Sancho’s availability but have not yet submitted an official offer to Manchester United.

This update aligns with reports from Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, who revealed that Juventus are prioritizing a permanent move for Francisco Conceição. Sancho is seen as an alternative option should the Conceição deal fall through.

Sancho’s brief stint at Chelsea didn’t go as planned, and with Manchester United unwilling to keep him, the player’s next move remains a hot topic in the transfer market.

Juventus remains a possible destination, but fans may have to wait longer for any official breakthrough.

For now, it appears that Juventus are exploring their options and that a deal for Sancho, while possible, is not as close as initially reported.
