Fabrizio Romano provides ‘new’ updates on Dusan Vlahovic future at Juventus

Manchester United have reportedly shown interest in Dusan Vlahovic, the Serbian striker currently at Juventus. However, his future at the Italian club appears uncertain as tensions mount over contract negotiations.

The 25-year-old’s relationship with Juventus has soured following his refusal to extend his current deal, which runs until 2026.

Juventus, keen on reducing their wage bill, are hoping to offload Vlahovic this summer, but the striker is demanding a €10 million compensation package to leave the Allianz Stadium, further complicating the situation.

Vlahovic Offered to Man United

Amidst the growing uncertainty surrounding Vlahovic’s future, renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed via his YouTube channel that Manchester United has been offered the opportunity to sign the striker.

However, Romano cautioned that while United are aware of the situation, they have yet to engage in serious negotiations for the player.

“Dusan Vlahovic is expected to leave Juventus this summer. The player has been offered to Man United, so that is why there have been stories and rumours,” said Fabrizio Romano on his Youtube Channel.

“But at the moment, United are focused on Bryan Mbeumo and are not advancing on this deal. They are aware of the possibility but at this stage, I am not aware of any negotiation for Vlahovic to Man United.”

Juventus Looking to Move Vlahovic for €25-30 Million

Juventus are said to be seeking between €25 million and €30 million for Vlahovic, a price that could represent good value considering his form in Italy’s top division.

Last season, he scored 10 goals in Serie A, marking the fifth time in the past six seasons that the Serbian forward has reached double digits in league goals.

Additionally, he has proven himself in European competition, netting six goals in 16 Champions League appearances.

Despite Juventus’ desire to part ways with Vlahovic, a potential move to Manchester United may not be directly linked to their pursuit of Jadon Sancho, as previously reported by The Mirror.

Juventus were rumored to have offered Vlahovic, along with Douglas Luiz and Timothy Weah, as part of a swap deal for the English winger earlier this month.

However, it appears Vlahovic’s future is likely to be dealt with separately from the Sancho situation.

AC Milan Could Provide Competition

Manchester United’s pursuit of the Serbian striker may face competition from AC Milan, who are also reportedly interested in securing Vlahovic’s signature.

Milan’s potential interest could make for a more competitive transfer race, especially as the Red Devils seek to strengthen their attacking options.
