Fabrizio Romano weighs in on Juventus key target
Juventus is closing in on the return of French striker Randal Kolo Muani, currently under contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
After months of ongoing contact and negotiations, the Bianconeri are finalizing the deal that would bring the 1998-born forward back to Turin, where he previously spent a successful six-month loan spell from January to June.
The club’s management has worked carefully to reduce the gap in negotiations with PSG. Initial talks were based on a loan with an option to buy, which was rejected by the French side.
Juventus later adjusted their proposal to meet PSG’s demands, and the two clubs have now reached an agreement for a loan deal that includes a mandatory purchase clause.

A decisive factor in the deal has been the player himself. Kolo Muani made it clear from the outset that his preference was to return to Juventus, turning down lucrative offers from Premier League clubs — notably Newcastle United — in order to prioritize a return to Turin.
He has remained firm on this stance, making it evident that Juventus was the only club he wanted to join permanently.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the total cost of the operation will amount to around €55 million, including both the loan fee and the future payment for the permanent transfer.
It’s a significant investment, but one Juventus sees as essential, with head coach Igor Tudor viewing Kolo Muani as a central figure in his long-term project.
During his initial loan spell, Kolo Muani made an immediate impact. He scored five goals in his first three official appearances and finished the season with 10 goals and 3 assists in 22 appearances across all competitions.

His performances impressed the club and convinced them to commit to a long-term partnership that could be pivotal to their attacking plans going forward.
Only minor details remain before the deal is completed, but all indications suggest that Kolo Muani will soon be back in black and white — this time, for good.
