Federico Chiesa in talks with Spanish giants as Italian clubs show limited interest
The rumors coming from Spain, particularly from Diario Sport, find confirmation: Barcelona is considering Federico Chiesa to strengthen their attack for the upcoming season.
The Blaugrana club has long been searching for a winger, but the deal for Nico Williams fell through due to high costs. Now, the Juventus player is also on their list.
Barcelona on Chiesa: Contacts with the Agent
Chiesa is out of Juventus’s plans, and according to Sky Sport, a move abroad is a realistic possibility: Chelsea isn’t the only club interested in the Italian forward; Barcelona is also in the mix.
The player’s agent, Fali Ramadani, has already initiated contacts with the Spanish club, and this solution is feasible only if an agreement is reached with Juventus (no player exchanges are expected).
Could Chiesa Stay in Italy?
There is also much speculation about the possibility of Chiesa remaining in Italy and joining another club. In recent days, rumors have linked him to Inter.
However, according to Sky, Italian options for Chiesa are currently less concrete compared to foreign opportunities. It remains to be seen what will happen in the coming days, but the 1997-born forward might be leaving Serie A for the first time.
