Federico Chiesa, once one of the most promising talents in Italian football, finds himself in a precarious situation as the new Serie A season kicks off.

In tonight’s match at the Allianz Stadium against Como, scheduled for 20:45, the 1997-born winger has once again been left out of Juventus’ squad.

Head coach Thiago Motta made it clear yesterday that the situation regarding Chiesa is well-understood between both parties, with the two having had direct conversations. Yet, despite these talks, Chiesa remains in Turin, training separately from the main squad along with other players who are considered surplus to requirements.

What Does the Future Hold for Chiesa at Juventus?

Chiesa’s future is shrouded in uncertainty. Currently, he is without a club, despite interest from several parties. Inter Milan, under the watchful eye of Beppe Marotta, is reportedly interested in acquiring the winger, but they are only willing to do so on a free transfer once his contract with Juventus expires at the end of the season.

This potential move could be seen as a significant coup for Inter, as they would be landing a high-caliber player without a transfer fee.

Interest has also been noted from the Premier League and other Serie A clubs, but no formal offers have been made to Juventus. Chiesa’s agent, Fali Ramadani, has been tasked with securing a deal that would bring in at least €15 million to avoid a financial loss for Juventus.

However, with the transfer window ticking away, the clock is running out for both Chiesa and Juventus to find a resolution. For now, the winger remains on the sidelines, his future hanging in the balance.
