Former Roma striker says Osimhen will sign for Juventus

Former Roma striker Roberto Pruzzo has suggested that Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen is set to join Juventus in the upcoming transfer window, citing a reliable source close to the player’s camp.

Currently contracted with Napoli, Osimhen has spent this season on loan at Galatasaray after failing to secure a permanent move to clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Al-Ahli last summer.

The 25-year-old had previously extended his contract with Napoli in 2023, including a €130 million release clause, which is expected to drop to €75 million at the end of the season.

With several clubs reportedly monitoring Osimhen’s situation, Juventus appears to be one of the strongest contenders to secure his signature.

Italian media outlets have linked the Bianconeri with a move for the prolific striker as they look to strengthen their attacking options.

Speaking to Radio Radio via Sport Mediaset., Pruzzo expressed confidence that the Nigerian international will make the switch to Turin.

“I have it on good authority that Juventus’ next striker will be Osimhen,” Pruzzo stated. “A trustworthy source within his entourage shared this information with me in Florence. They are convinced that he will be heading to Juventus next season.”

A legendary figure in Italian football, Pruzzo played for Roma for a decade, helping them secure a Serie A title in the 1982-83 season. He began his career at Genoa and concluded it at Fiorentina in 1989, leaving a mark with 133 goals in 331 Serie A appearances.

While speculation continues to grow, Osimhen remains focused on his current campaign with Galatasaray. However, with the summer transfer window approaching, his next move will be one of the most closely watched storylines in European football.
