Gianluca Di Marzio reveals Juventus’ primary striker target

While the name of Victor Osimhen might have dominated transfer rumors, it appears Juventus has set its sights on a different striker for their future plans.

According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Bianconeri are exploring various attacking options as they prepare for the potential departure of Dusan Vlahovic.

Among the candidates, Benjamin Šeško from RB Leipzig stands out as the primary target for Juventus football director Cristiano Giuntoli.

Juventus has been linked with several forwards including Joshua Zirkzee, Victor Boniface, and Jonathan David, as potential alternatives or successors to Vlahovic.

However, the focus seems to be shifting towards Šeško, a young Slovenian talent currently with RB Leipzig.

At just 21 years old, Šeško has already made a name for himself in European football. His physical presence at 193 cm, combined with speed, technical ability, and a knack for aerial duels, makes him a formidable opponent.

Often compared to Erling Haaland, Šeško represents a long-term investment for Juventus, fitting into their strategy of blending young talents with seasoned players.

Šeško’s performance at RB Leipzig after moving from Red Bull Salzburg has shown he can handle the step up in competition level.

His ability to not only score but also contribute to the team’s playmaking has caught the eye of several top clubs, including Juventus. His role with the Slovenian national team further adds to his attractiveness as a transfer target.

However, prying Šeško away from Leipzig won’t be straightforward. The German club values him highly, and his transfer fee is expected to be in the region of €50-60 million due to his development and potential.

Leipzig will demand a premium for a player they see as integral to their future plans. This high valuation poses a significant challenge for Juventus, who must navigate financial fair play regulations while also looking to strengthen their squad.
