Michele Di Gregorio has rejected the chance to join Premier League giants Manchester City and Liverpool, as Juventus look set to reshuffle their goalkeeping department ahead of the new season.

The 27-year-old Italian shot-stopper, who impressed with Monza last season, has already agreed to join Juventus.

Despite interest from top English clubs, Di Gregorio made it clear that his preference was to remain in Italy and fight for the number one spot in Turin.

According to reports, both Manchester City and Liverpool were prepared to make significant offers to lure Di Gregorio to the Premier League.

However, the goalkeeper prioritized regular playing time and continuity in Serie A over a potentially lucrative move abroad.

Juventus are now planning internal changes in their goalkeeper lineup. With Wojciech Szczęsny likely to leave this summer, Di Gregorio is expected to be the long-term solution.

The club is also evaluating the future of Mattia Perin, who may be allowed to leave if a suitable offer arrives.

Di Gregorio’s decision signals his commitment to becoming a key figure at Juventus, as the club continues to rebuild under a new sporting vision.
