Juventus have officially completed the signing of Randal Kolo Muani from PSG on a 6-month dry loan. This deal is set to finally bring a back-up to Dusan Vlahovic as he has been struggling with overplaying because of not having a back-up this season.
This deal was meant to be completed last week but PSG has had issues with Ligue 1 registration rules as they had too many players on loan. Goalkeeper, Lucas Lavallee was recalled so the issue could be resolved and Kolo Muani can join Juventus.
He had his presentation in Turin today to make the deal permeant. He will wear the number 20 during his time in Turin. He will likely start against Napoli as Vlahovic is still coming back from injury and Vlahovic will have to play the full 90 against Benfica.
This is because registration rules of Champions League meaning he can’t feature until the knockout stages in February. Kolo Muani will also be a strong fit in Thiago Mottas tactical system. He plays very similar to Joshua Zirkzee who flourished at Bologna under Motta.
They are both tall strikers that like to drop deep and support the attack. This is a factor that Dusan Vlahovic hasn’t had this season which could contribute to why he was struggling so far. Kolo Muani does have one thing over his Zirkzee being that he much quicker which will help on the counter.
