Juventus and Cristiano Giuntoli are looking to complete the signing of Nico Gonzalez from Fiorentina today. This is after the signing of centre back/full back Pierre Kalulu from AC Milan. This is because he is completing his medical this morning.

Now that Fiorentina have their Gonzalez replacement in Albert Gudmundsson of Genoa. Since this is finished the deal can now be finalized with Fiorentina wanting a fee of 40 million euros. This is a price that will likely be labelled as too much by many including Giuntoli.

If the fee is around 25-30 million euros the fee could be made by two sales. This being Arthur and Filip Kostic who are both set to de part from Turin this window. Arthur could be used in a swap deal as he was at Fiorentina on loan last season.

Another player who is on the way out according to Gazzetta is Federico Chiesa. He won’t necessarily be sold to fund the purchase of Gonzalez, but another winger could be bought in. Chiesa is reportedly talking to Barcelona on a permeant move.

But if Federico Chiesa does join Barcelona, he could suffer for game time with them already signing of Dani Olmo this window. As well they have young star Lamine Yamal on the left-hand side and Spanish national team teammate Ferran Torres on the other.

If Chiesa does leave, there would be three other names who could come in. Teun Koopmeiners signing will likely be completed anyway. But Atalanta need to sign a replacement before he can move too Turin on a permanent deal.

The other two wingers have already been linked to Juventus with Jadon Sancho and Francisco Conceicao both being linked. It is now that Giuntoli is a fan of both players so that could help them join Juventus.
