Juventus move forward in chase for PSG’s Randal Kolo Muani
Juventus are intensifying their efforts to sign Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain, with fresh talks between the two clubs expected in the coming days.
Despite recently signing Jonathan David from Lille, the Bianconeri are not slowing down their pursuit of additional firepower especially as Dusan Vlahovic could be on his way out this summer.
Juventus have resumed negotiations with PSG to secure Kolo Muani on a permanent deal.
The main sticking point in discussions remains the structure of the transfer. Juventus are seeking a loan deal with an option to buy, aiming to reduce financial risk.
PSG, on the other hand, are pushing for a mandatory purchase clause, holding firm on their valuation of the French striker.
Previous negotiations between the two clubs didn’t lead to an agreement, and while further talks are expected, the situation remains at a standstill for now.
The situation could become more complicated with Manchester United reportedly monitoring developments closely.
After failing to land Viktor Gyökeres, the Red Devils are back in the market for a striker and see Kolo Muani as a viable alternative.
A potential transfer domino involving Rasmus Højlund, previously linked to Juventus, could also impact the direction of this saga.
Kolo Muani already proved his worth during his loan spell at Juventus last season, scoring 8 goals and providing 1 assist in 16 Serie A appearances, along with 2 goals and an assist in 3 matches during the FIFA Club World Cup.
His pace, technical ability, and sharp football intelligence make him a natural fit for Igor Tudor’s tactical setup, either as a starter or in rotation with Jonathan David.
With Vlahovic’s contract set to expire in 2026 and a transfer increasingly likely this summer, Juventus are keen to secure a forward who can immediately step in and lead the line.
Kolo Muani remains at the top of the list, but the club’s ability to land him will depend on PSG’s flexibility and the level of international competition.
