How Paul Pogba’s return to Juventus happened?

Paul Pogba is set to return back to Juventus as reported previously. the Bianconeri have a complete agreement with the midfielder  on a three year deal with option for a fourth with a guaranteed salary of €8M plus bonuses.

We know Massimiliano Allegri is a big fan of Pogba and has a great relationship with the player. Juventus had been thinking of this opportunity since December but no talks were started with his agents. In December, the club just had his name on a list to improve the midfield further after the arrivals of Manuel Locatelli and Denis Zakaria.

There were two names on top of Bianconeri’s list, Pogba and Milinkovic Savic, with the latter more difficult to attain for different reasons. The club decided to move on Pogback in late March and informed about their intentions to the player’s representatives.

On May 16st, Monday, took place the first face to face meeting between Juventus and lawyer representing Pogba, Rafaela Pimenta. It was a very long meeting, approximately lasted five hours, In the meeting, De Ligt’s renewal was discussed as well but the main topic was Paul Pogba’s return. The Bianconeri made their proposal both economically and sporting wise. The club explained the key role Pogba would have at Juventus.

Just a few days later, we heard Paul Pogba has set his heart on a return to Juventus and is ready to take a pay cut to make that happen.

And now, Paul Pogba is once again a Juventus player after six years. Pogback successfully completed.
