Juventus is reportedly considering several striker options to bolster their attack, following the potential sales of Arkadiusz Milik and Moise Kean. Among the names being linked with the club are Victor Boniface and Anthony Martial.

Victor Boniface has emerged as a highly sought-after target, particularly due to the admiration of Gunitoli. Valued at €40 million by Bayer Leverkusen, Boniface has played a crucial role in their Bundesliga-winning campaign and their ongoing push for the Europa League title.

With 11 goals and eight assists, he has been a standout performer in Xabi Alonso’s record-breaking side. Boniface could potentially serve as a second striker alongside Dusan Vlahovic, adding depth to the attack.

However, there are also rumors that Vlahovic may be sold if an agreement on an extension at the club cannot be reached.

Anthony Martial, on the other hand, is set to become a free agent as he leaves Manchester United, according to Sky Sports. Although Martial’s career at United has been somewhat underwhelming, with 90 goals in 418 games, he could be considered as a backup option for Juventus.

However, his past performance and injuries raises doubts about his suitability for the role.

In my opinion, Joshua Zirkzee and Mateo Retegui are more suitable options for Juventus, given the club’s current financial situation and their fit within the team’s system.

Both players have shown promise and could potentially thrive under the guidance of either Massimiliano Allegri or, if rumors are true, under the potential new coach, Marco Motta.

While Martial is a free agent and could help raise funds for other transfers, his past performance casts a shadow on his potential impact at the club.

Furthermore, if Martial were to join as a fourth choice striker, it could mean that Federico Chiesa would have to continue playing in a role that is not his preferred position.

While Martial would be an improvement over Milik and Moise Kean, his signing could limit the opportunities for other players to develop in their natural positions.

In conclusion, Juventus has several intriguing options to strengthen their attack for the upcoming season.

While Victor Boniface and Anthony Martial are among the names being considered, Joshua Zirkzee and Mateo Retegui appear to be more financially viable and tactically suitable options for the club.

Ultimately, the decision will depend on the club’s strategic priorities and the vision of the coaching staff for the team’s future.
