Juventus smart decision on Luis Hasa set to pay off with Napoli move

Luis Hasa, a promising 20-year-old Italian-Albanian midfielder, is on the verge of transferring from Lecce to Napoli in a deal valued at €500,000, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

This move holds financial significance for Juventus, Hasa’s formative club, due to a 30% sell-on clause embedded in his previous transfer agreement.

Hasa’s journey began in Juventus’s youth academy, where he showcased considerable potential. Despite his talents, the depth of Juventus’s senior squad limited his opportunities for first-team action.

Seeking regular playtime, Hasa transferred to Lecce in the summer of 2024. The terms of this transfer included a 30% sell-on clause favoring Juventus, ensuring the club would benefit from any future sale of the player.

At Lecce, Hasa’s playtime remained limited, with only a single appearance in the Coppa Italia. Despite this, Napoli identified his potential and initiated a transfer valued at €500,000.

Consequently, Juventus stands to receive €150,000 from this transaction, representing their 30% entitlement.

While the immediate financial gain for Juventus is modest, the inclusion of the sell-on clause reflects the club’s strategic foresight in talent management.
