Since we’re slowly getting closer to the summer transfer window, a lot of things are happening in Juventus following Paulo Dybalaʼs departure confirmation and a tough season for the Bianconeri.
Everyone who loves Juventus is curious about the player who could replace Paulo Dybala — who will leave at the end of the season — and other names which will join the club in the summer in the view of next season.
A lot of names are being talked about of the possibility of joining Juventus in the summer, that’s why I stepped forward to interview one of the most reliable journalists for Juventus, Romeo Agresti, to understand the current situation of Paulo Dybala, next summer targets and players expiring their contracts situation.
Here’s the full interview with Romeo Agresti:
What will be Paulo Dybala’s most likely destination when he’s Juventus contract runs out this summer?
«Regarding Paulo Dybalaʼs next destination, to be fair I don’t know. But I think he hasn’t find a club yet. There were some contacts with Inter, something with Atletico Madrid and Tottenham, but I think he’s taking his time to decide his next club. There are nothing advanced yet.»
Who’re the player Juventus are taking into considerations as Paulo Dybala replacement?
«Juventus wants a different player to replace Paulo Dybala. I think they will sign player who will be able to play in 4-3-3 formation, not a number 10. Around two days ago, there was a meeting between Allegri and Juventus board to plan new season in terms of transfer market aspect. It will take time to understand the right profile [to replace Dybala] — it’s a little bit early to talk about it.»
Giancomo Raspadori and Nicolo Zaniolo to Juventus latest updates.
«Its true, Juventus are following both Nicolo Zaniolo and Giancomo Raspadori, but there have been no contacts between Juventus and Roma or Sassuolo so far. Let’s wait and see, but I won’t be surprised if there comes up other names in the coming days.»
Juventus will sign another defender in the summer? The players who could join plus Rudiger and Bremer updates.
«I think Juventus would like to sign another defender, especially if Chiellini will leave at the end of the season. I think Inter is the one who are favourites to sign Bremer: they are pushing since December — so far they’re in pole position.
«For Rüdiger, he’s waiting to understand what will happen with Chelsea because he prefer to stay there. His entourage are in talks with Juventus, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, but I think Rudiger will understand what will happen at Chelsea before saying’ YES’ to any club.»
Juventus midfield solutions
«In the midfield: Juventus wants a midfielder who’s able to score and assist. A very class player — we’ll understand the names in the coming weeks.»
Players expiring contracts: updates on Cuadrado, Bernardeschi, Perin and De Sciglio.
«For Juan Cuadrado, in the last weeks he said that he wants to stay at Juventus, and if he wants to stay, I think he’ll stay but they must find agreements in terms of money aspects.
«For Bernardeschi, I have no updates, Perin priority is to stay at Juventus while Mattia de Sciglio is the one who’s more close to renew with Juventus.
«There was a meeting with De Sciglio agents last week, and there will be another one in the coming weeks: I think he can stay to Juventus.»
Striker solutions: Álvaro Morata future and strikers who could join Juventus incase he leaves.
«As things stand, Juventus wants to keep Álvaro Morata but on a lower fee and the player would like to stay. The Bianconeri need to hold talks with Atletico in the coming weeks to find a solution. We’ll see if they’ll be able to find agreements.»
