The Italian goalkeeper joined Juventus on a one-year loan deal from Monza, with an obligation to buy at the end of the season for a fee reported to be around €40 million.

When asked about the English interest, Belloni remarked, “Surely Manchester City fans will remember his saves for a long time. However, in the summer, we decided against Liverpool to embrace the Juventus project.”
