Jadon Sancho is now set to leave Manchester United and join Juventus. Reports say a full agreement has been reached between the two clubs and the player’s agent. The transfer is expected to be completed soon.
Sancho spent last season (2024/25) on loan at Chelsea. But Chelsea decided not to keep him. He had a difficult time there and didn’t agree to lower his salary.
Because of that, Chelsea sent him back to Manchester United and paid £5 million for breaking their agreement.
Since then, Sancho has been looking for a new club. Many teams showed interest, including Napoli, West Ham, Aston Villa, Fenerbahce, and clubs from Saudi Arabia. But Juventus pushed the hardest to sign him.
Sancho had good talks with Juventus in the past few weeks. Reports said he was even ready to take a pay cut just to leave Manchester United. The Red Devils valued him at around £20–25 million.
Juventus also talked about including midfielder Douglas Luiz in the deal. Manchester United are interested in Luiz because manager Ruben Amorim wants to strengthen the midfield.
Italian reporter Marco Giordano shared the news on social media platform X:“Sancho to Juventus is very close.” “The deal is done. The player will join Juventus unless something unexpected happens.”
“The price is around £25 million, and everything is agreed with Manchester United and Sancho’s agent.”
Sancho now has a chance to restart his career in Italy with Juventus. Things didn’t go well for him at Manchester United, but this move could help him get back to his best.
Even though fans are waiting for official confirmation, all signs show that Sancho’s time at Old Trafford is over.
