With Jorginho’s contract at Chelsea coming to an end, rumors are growing that he could be heading to Juventus in the summer.
Ever since Maurizio Sarri left Chelsea for Juventus until today, no transfer window has passed without mention of Jorginho’s possible move to Juventus.
The Italian international has already established himself as one of the most important players in Chelsea, where he has been a part of the team since joining from Napoli in 2018 until today.
The 30-year-old midfielder is out of contract next summer, meaning he will be free to negotiate a free transfer in January.
However, his agent Joao Santos confirmed that they are not in talks with any team to sign him at the moment, except Chelsea where they are talking about extending his contract and confirmed that they had no talks with Barcelona.
“I have never met Barcelona’s Mateu Alemany. We want to extend the contract with Chelsea, it’s our priority. We are only dealing with the Blues and no other club,” said Joao Santos to Relevo.
Since arriving at Chelsea, Jorginho has played 205 games in all competitions, scored 29 goals, provided nine assists, and helped them win various trophies including the Champions League and Europa League.
