Juventus 1-0 Lazio: Player Ratings

Juventus and Lazio fought for a spot in the semi-finals at the Allianz Stadium on Thursday, with a Bremer goal proving enough to beat the visitors from the capital.

In a far from filled up Allianz, Juventus and Lazio battled out who’d face Inter in the next round of the Coppa Italia. The match started out pretty evenly, with the Bianconeri having the slight upper hand. Both teams had some opportunities, Lazio came close with a Zaccagni curler, while Kostić troubled Maximiano from a tight angle.

However, Juventus managed to take the lead just before the end of the first half. Lazio couldn’t get the ball away and it fell to Kostić, who directly delivered it into the box. That turned out to be a great cross, as Bremer beat Maximiano to the ball and headed in the 1-0.

It took until the 70th minute before we’d see exciting action again. A fantastic through ball by Locatelli found Moise Kean. He battled it out with Patric, dropped him on the ground and shot. Maximiano was able to keep it out of the Lazio goal.

Lazio weren’t really able to trouble Juventus at any point in the match. It remained 1-0 due to Bremer’s goal, which means Juventus will face Inter in the semi-final.
