On a scorching summer day in Turin, under the sweltering heat of the city and the energetic atmosphere of the Allianz Stadium, Juventus made their third appearance of the season under coach Igor Tudor.

Promising Performances

Douglas Luiz: Luiz had a standout performance, starting with a quick shot that forced goalkeeper Mangiapoco into action. He then opened the scoring with a tough, well-taken goal.

His composure and drive were visible throughout, and he also provided a brilliant assist for Dusan Vlahovic’s goal. It seems that the midfielder is regaining the sharpness that he showed in the Premier League.

Federico Gatti: The central defender, who wore the captain’s armband for this match, was solid in defense.

His physicality and anticipation in duels were impressive, and he led by example. Gatti’s performance gives hope for a strong defensive backbone going forward.

Fabio Miretti: Miretti was another positive note for Juventus, displaying excellent vision and creativity in the middle of the park.

He linked up well with his teammates, especially in finding space between the lines. His development, bolstered by his loan spell last season, is evident as he grows into an important role for the team.

Players Needing Improvement

Dusan Vlahovic: The striker had a slow start to the game, squandering a major chance early on and looking a bit nervous. The crowd grew frustrated with him after he missed a golden opportunity and was met with boos.

However, Vlahovic regained his focus and scored a well-executed goal later on, earning applause from the fans. Despite this, the striker still has areas to improve on, particularly in his decision-making in front of goal.

Teun Koopmeiners: Despite the slower pace of the match, exacerbated by the summer heat, Koopmeiners seemed somewhat off the pace.

He wasn’t as involved in the game as expected, even in his new role. It appears he may still need time to adjust to the tactical setup and to find his rhythm in the squad.
