Juventus agree a deal to signing Edon Zhegrova but La Liga holds the key
With the Italian transfer window set to close tomorrow, Juventus is in a frantic race to finalize a deal for Lille’s Edon Zhegrova.
The latest reports, including from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, indicate that a total agreement has been reached between the player, Juventus, and Lille for a transfer believed to be worth between €20 and €25 million.
This breakthrough marks a major step forward, as Zhegrova had already agreed to personal terms with the Bianconeri.
However, the final piece of the transfer puzzle is contingent on a domino effect triggered by the departure of another Juventus player: Nico González.
The transfer of Zhegrova to Juventus is contingent on the completion of Nico González’s move to Atlético Madrid.

While an agreement is in place between Juventus and Atlético for the Argentine winger, the deal is awaiting final approval from La Liga regarding Atlético’s financial fair play.
Once La Liga grants the green light for González’s transfer, which is expected tonight, the chain reaction will begin: González will move to Madrid, and in turn, Zhegrova will be free to complete his transfer to Turin.
The final hours of the transfer window will be critical as Juventus works to secure the necessary approval to finalize the deal and provide coach Igor Tudor with his desired squad.
The fate of both Zhegrova and González now hangs in the balance, with every minute counting.
