Juventus is looking to bounce back from a disappointing club world cup campaign in which they where eliminated in the round of 16 by Real Madrid. Now Igor Tudor and Damien Comolli are looking to strengthen the team to help challenge for the Scudetto next season.

Before the start of last, Juventus lead by Cristiano Guntoli was looking to bring in a defender to strength the squad. However due to multiple reason mainly other needs for the squad and Feyenoord not wanting to sell David Hancko a defender was never bought in.

Then Juventus suffered an injury crisis down back with Glieson Bremer and Juan Cabal tearing their ACLs. This left the squad struggling to qualify for the Champions League. This amongst other reasons led to the firing of Crisitano Guntoli who was then replaced by Damien Comolli.
