Juventus and Fiorentina locked in transfer battle
Juventus and Fiorentina continue to be the epicenter of Serie A transfer activity.
Following the recent move of Moise Kean from Juventus to Fiorentina, the two clubs are engaged in fresh negotiations involving key players.
Midfielder Weston McKennie is surplus to requirements at Juventus and has attracted interest from Fiorentina. While the Viola are keen on the American, the deal is not directly linked to any potential move for Nico Gonzalez.
McKennie’s high wage demands could be a stumbling block, although Fiorentina remains optimistic about reaching an agreement.
Nico Gonzalez is another player in high demand. Primarily linked with Atalanta, the Argentine forward has also caught the eye of Juventus. However, Atalanta appears to be in the driving seat for his signature.
There’s speculation that Juventus might facilitate a deal for McKennie, similar to the loan move of Arthur Melo to Fiorentina. Such cooperation could pave the way for a smoother transfer.
Fiorentina has initiated talks with McKennie’s representatives but is yet to engage in direct negotiations with Juventus. The coming weeks will be crucial in determining the outcome of these transfer sagas.
