Pietro Comuzzo, the 20-year-old central defender from Fiorentina, has become a focal point in the transfer market, attracting interest from top Serie A clubs, including Juventus and AC Milan.
Comuzzo, who has progressed through Fiorentina’s youth system since 2018, made his Serie A debut in October 2023 and has since established himself as a key player in the team’s defense. His performances have also earned him a call-up to the Italian national team under coach Luciano Spalletti.
AC Milan, aiming to strengthen their Italian core, have identified Comuzzo as a prime target. Technical Director Geoffrey Moncada has reportedly initiated contact with Comuzzo’s agent to explore a potential move.
Juventus, under the guidance of sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, have also shown interest in Comuzzo. Discussions during the negotiation for Nicolò Fagioli’s transfer to Fiorentina included a proposal involving Comuzzo, indicating Juventus’s intent to secure the young defender.
Fiorentina, acknowledging the growing interest, have set Comuzzo’s valuation at €40 million. However, reports suggest that the club might consider offers in the range of €25-30 million, especially if Comuzzo’s playing time diminishes due to tactical changes.
