Juventus is intensifying efforts to secure the permanent transfer of Portuguese winger Francisco Conceição from FC Porto. After a successful loan spell during the 2024–25 season, the Bianconeri are keen to bring him back to Turin.

Discussions between the clubs have intensified, with both parties nearing an agreement on a deal valued at approximately €25 million, including performance-related bonuses, reports Gianluca Di Marzio.

Initially, Porto had set a €30 million release clause for Conceição, a figure Juventus found challenging to meet upfront.

However, recent developments indicate that Juventus is prepared to activate this clause before it increases to €45 million after July 15, 2025, even though they aim to pay less than the full €30 million.

The clubs are negotiating a reduced fee, with Juventus offering €22 million, while Porto is holding out for €25 million. The two sides are reportedly separated by just €3 million, and discussions are ongoing to bridge this gap.

A pivotal factor in advancing negotiations is Conceição’s willingness to forgo his 20% rights fee, a move that has facilitated smoother discussions between the clubs.

Head coach Igor Tudor has been a strong advocate for Conceição, valuing his dribbling skills and versatility.

The young winger’s ability to operate both as an attacking midfielder and on the flanks aligns well with Juventus’s tactical setup. Tudor’s endorsement has been instrumental in prioritizing this acquisition.
