Juventus are pushing hard for Denis Zakaria in final days of the transfer window

Juventus would like to sign one more player before the transfer window closes and if it were up to Juventus coach Max Allegri, that player would be Denis Zakaria from Borussia Monchengladbach. The midfielder who is currently out of contract at season end, and has told his club that he will not renew. Thus making Monchengladbach having to make a decision, to either cash in on a player they know won’t be at the club next season, or continue on with the him as the are currently in a relegation battle.

If the Zakaria deal doesn’t work out, plan B is reportedly the Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nández. The 26 year old Uruguayan is currently enjoying a pretty good season for his club, and could also fit in just in front of the defence in Allegri squad, but still from reliable sources this deal is a far stretch, considering one thing, these deals only get done if Juve can move Arthur to Arsenal and possibly Bentancur to Aston Villa, and if that happens, Zakaria is most likely the player they would be signing. But incase Monchengladbach aren’t willing to cash in, Nadez could be a player they move for, no doubt.

For Denis Zakaria, who is out of contract, there also remains the obstacle of getting a deal done with his entourage, as it’s reported the Swiss is wanting a hefty raise from £2,652,000 he is currently making. But if Juventus want the player and Monchengladbach is willing to sell, it shouldn’t be a problem as Juve have shown with the new capital gains increase given by their parent company, that flexing its muscles at the moment doesn’t really seem to be a problem.
